I / Under the Venetian sky In 1982, following a two-week stay in Venice, Angelo Madyalès, fascinated by the monumental paintings that are one of the attractions of this city, trying for the first time to paint the oil - it will address acrylic few years later. He had just finished his military service after his dismissal from the National School of Fine Arts in Lyon, where he was admitted three years earlier. The numerous sketches made in the lagoon city will form the basis of his pictorial work, however it applies to discover and practice the self-taught painter, his gift for drawing and observation helping - a special jury prize he was awarded five years earlier on the occasion of an exhibition of drawings at the House of Arts and Entertainment of Thonon-les-Bains, his hometown. If painting was for him at that time a hobby, this activity has become since his preferred field of exercise. At the request of his friend and philosophy professor Bernard Lanovaz Angelo Madyalès volunteer performs early 80 a series of 20 postcards for Follereau Foundation (Foundation of aideau third world) https: //www.raoul-follereau .org /. At the same time, he joined as a founding member in the adventure of the association C.R.E.I.L. (International Meeting Centre Lémanique), cultural association located in Haute-Savoie. Besides creating posters and leaflets, he oversees the organization of shows for this association, and carries a dozen decorative panels of new art inspirations of 3.50 x 1.70 meters for Thénières Castle, Upper Savoie, the CREIL begun to revive. On this occasion, he returned to old comrades from the School of Fine Arts in Lyon, with whom he had organized three years earlier a group exhibition and conferences on the theme of "narrative image." This relationship was born a mural for the Church of Our Lady of Lourde in Thonon-les-Bains, work of this architect, project that unfortunately remain in the state for lack of financial means to implement it. II / First public exhibition In September 1985 The Bagnorea Gallery in Annecy presents for the first time to the public webs Angelo Madyalès on the occasion of a group exhibition, bringing together painters and sculptors. The event, covered by the press and local radio, attracts an audience of curious connoisseurs, but is revealed to the rather disappointing final for exhibitors that sell some works. Following this experience, Angelo Madyalès, who works as a graphic designer and decorator in M.J.C., share a folder under his arm, looking for galleries that might welcome his work. It produces a steady pace oils, gouaches and drawings that pile up in his studio, located on the heights of Evian-les-Bains and open to visitors. The diversity of his pictorial research results at this time by a production quite disappear sometimes, which led him to destroy or recycle nearly a third of its achievements. Helen Gallery Lyon is the first to exhibit his works individually in May 1986. Well received by critics, this exhibition brings together fifty pieces of all formats, oils on canvas, gouaches on paper and linocuts. In April, he exhibited at The Gallery Kosalaï in Evian-les-Bains; two months later at the Galerie du Perron in Geneva; then, in September, to Aktuaryus Gallery and the Council of Europe in Strasbourg; and finally again in the Bagnorea Gallery in Annecy. In the course of years, he met several times playwright, director and painter Novarina http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Val%C3%A8re_Novarina, with whom he attends twice a representation his latest play, "the animal Speech", two-hour monologue, powerfully portrayed by the actor André Marcon http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9_Marcon. This show will inspire a canvas Angelo, canvas will be sold the same day of the opening of his second exhibition at Galerie Hélène few months later. A short stay in Munich will mark the end of this year full of confrontations with the public. March 87 is the chance for Angelo to present his work in Paris in a collective demonstration in the Trades and entitled "Fashion-Art". That same month, he also exposes, individually, his latest works at the Galerie Paul Besset, in Montpellier. Some time later, one of his large canvases hangs from a chair rail to the Salon of French artists at the Grand Palais in Paris. In the meantime, he has been working in collaboration with Marie-Edith Marchante, implementation of the Tarot Aztec, divination card game inspired by pre-Columbian Astrology, which will be published next year. After a one week stay in Venice, Angelo Madyalès went back to Paris, where he lived for ten days at the architect Maurice Novarina, who commissioned on this occasion a portrait of his wife, actress Manon Trolliet. In October he stays in Barcelona and Toulouse, where, through the Spanish art dealer Francesc Maistre, the Art Gallery South presents his work. Well received by critics and the public exhibition will take more than the previous, encouragement value for him
