Artist's description: "In the Beginning was the Logos..." This reference to the Gospel of John suggests not only that the Logos is in the beginning, but also that it is the Principle, the first qualification and emanation of the Divine itself, the origin of time and space, is the movement and the first and superior separation from which all dualism descends. Logos that translated from the Greek has an incredible variety of meanings: it is not only Word, but it is also Knowledge. A total knowledge of the absolute, of the whole, of space and time in a completely different way from that which can be grasped with the mind, beyond the fragmentation of the polar deployment of the event. In the beginning there was the Nothing, just as there was the Whole ... The substance before Chaos, given the impossibility of being reflected in itself, is determined through the first movement, changing itself organically into the Logos, (It was before and now it is another), giving rise to the first fatal imprint of Time and the consequent dualistic fragmentation of reality. From the state of confusion, therefore, a pair of opposites emerges by splitting which, by uniting and interacting with each other, create the world and the life cycle. But perhaps these are not really opposed, there is no real opposition, all aspects and manifestations of life are one the evolution of the other and the opposites therefore go to balance and converge on that Nothing-Everything from which come, that transparency without quality from which they originated ... In the painting it is evident the will to show this common origin: the word, to which we then assign meaning through the codification of the mind, evolves from the sign, given by the initial movement that is at the origin of everything. Like this, so too the innumerable meanings attributed to the multiplicity of forms through which life manifests itself and to which it is customary to attribute opposition (such as mythos and logos, logos and chaos, eros and thanatos etc ...) have the same origin, they are the one the transformation of the other .. In the Beginning was the Logos ... The Logos is configured therefore as the condition of possibility of manifestation and expression of all that exists ...
