This painting is inspired by a piece of fallen gum tree bark that I picked up during a walk into the woods. Eucalyptus tree have a symbolic meaning as Healing and Protection, which is also my favorite tree. I studied the colour combination on the tree bark for quite some time. The brown , beige, dark grey and a hint of blue blended in a perfect harmony on the solid tree bark, under the autumn sun, with a twist of pink added into the delightful colour combination, brings out the peace and tranquility.
