Artist's description: From the song 'Let it be me'...Marie Manon loves the lyrics of this song and sang them while creating this piece.
"Don't take this heaven from one
If you must cling to someone
Now and forever
Let it be me
Each time we meet, love
I find complete love
Without your sweet love
What would life be?"
Songwriters: Gilbert Bca
Marie Manon was born in Montreal in 1960. After living in Bermuda for a number of years she returned to Canada and moved to the beautiful city of Calgary, Alberta. She participated in several exhibitions and quickly developed a reputation as an Abstract Expressionist painter.
She works continuously and is compared by several artists, and her mentor Robert Burridge, to Joan Mitchell., the greatest American Abstract Expressionist. Her paintings are a continuous flow of emotions that are transferred to the canvas.
