Hola soy Silvina Vilar, artista plástica argentina. Alguna vez escribí esta reflexión sobre ¿Qué es el ARTE? Para mi siempre fue una expresión de sentimientos y emociones del tiempo que corre, como una vorágine, que no espera ni un segundo en que la mente pare. Cuando hay tiempo, el arte se convierte en una meticulosa expresión de ideas, de vida, de sentimientos, de observación, de análisis, es un conjunto de balances principalmente de reflexiones. Pero cuando el tiempo corre, no hay nada de eso, es explosión pura de ese sentimiento, que no trae nada de raciocinio. El arte se convierte en algo bruto y tajante, sin vueltas, es crudo, son gritos y decisiones tomadas sin vueltas. Uno pone rápidamente todo su conocimiento en práctica. Vé, selecciona y decide con seguridad lo que quiere decir, expresar. El arte es reflejo de nuestro interior, es el espíritu que sale y se muestra sin complejos, con la coherencia del vivir de cada uno. El arte ayuda a llegar al fondo, a conectarse con el alma perdida que la vida cotidiana ayuda a dejar de lado. Somos un punto en el gran universo, un insignificante y diminuto punto en la galaxia. Pero en este pequeño mundo nos creemos grandes e importantes, imprescindibles. "Contradicciones". No seamos tan omnipotentes, sólo seamos honestos con lo que creemos que podamos dar. En mí, ese "dar" está en la pintura, en los colores que salen tan naturalmente y con tanta fuerza en cada obra que hago con el mayor placer y felicidad. Simplemente doy las GRACIAS por tener este don de expresarme y poder llegar al alma de otros. I once wrote this reflection on What is ART? For me it has always been an expression of feelings and emotions of the time that runs, like a whirlpool, that does not wait a second for the mind to stop. When there is time, art becomes a meticulous expression of ideas, of life, of feelings, of observation, of analysis, it is a set of balances mainly of reflections. But when time runs out, there is nothing of the sort, it is a pure explosion of that feeling, which brings nothing of reasoning. Art becomes something gross and sharp, without turns, it is raw, it is shouts and decisions taken without turns. One quickly puts all one's knowledge into practice. Go, select and decide with certainty what you want to say, to express. Art is a reflection of our interior, it is the spirit that comes out and shows itself without complexes, with the coherence of each one's life. Art helps to get to the bottom, to connect with the lost soul that everyday life helps to leave behind. We are a point in the great universe, an insignificant and tiny point in the galaxy. But in this small world we think we are big and important, indispensable. "Contradictions." Let's not be so omnipotent, let's just be honest about what we think we can give. In me, that "giving" is in the painting, in the colors that come out so naturally and with such force in each work that I do with the greatest pleasure and happiness.
