I am a self-taught artist, born in Poland, currently leaving between London and Brazil where I dedicate myself to plant and grow my own organic food and paint large size canvases. My artwork is concerned with colors, light, and texture to evoke feelings and memory. I use a combination of artistic mediums to create, from acrylic and oil paint, oil stick, on canvas or for murals, freehand illustration, collages, and digital image manipulation. College and multilayer paintings are definitely my favorite form of expression, the process of building the layers is like telling the story, each layer is a new chapter. The great thing about incorporating a lot of layers of college is that anything I don't like I can cover up until I am satisfied with the outcome. Materials I am using to create are mostly - anything I can find it: vintage, unwanted documents, postcard, stamps, magazines and newspapers, posters, flyers, books, literally anything. I do not think about art while I am painting, I think about my life, my experience, feelings, and dreams. I am fascinated with how we communicate and tell stories, both to the people around us and to ourselves.
